Loading & Unloading possibilities

Depend­ing on the loca­tion of the con­tain­er, con­tent, weight, space and require­ments on site, dif­fer­ent load­ing and unload­ing meth­ods are used.

That is why we also offer all pos­si­ble unload­ing and load­ing options.

DELIVERY — WITHOUT UNLOADING (= unloading by customer)

With­out an order to unload or load the con­tain­ers, the con­tain­ers are usu­al­ly deliv­ered with a truck chas­sis (with­out the pos­si­bil­i­ty of unload­ing or load­ing). The recip­i­ent or sender of the con­tain­er then loads or unloads the con­tain­er direct­ly on the chas­sis or takes over the load­ing or unload­ing from or onto the con­tain­er chas­sis by self-orga­nized means such as a suit­able fork­lift or crane.

It should be not­ed that 10-foot and 20-foot con­tain­ers have fork­lift pock­ets, with 40-foot con­tain­ers this is not always the case.

Advan­tage:
There are no addi­tion­al costs for load­ing or unload­ing if the con­tain­er is loaded or unloaded with­in the spec­i­fied time or loaded or unloaded with your own fork­lift / crane.

Dis­ad­van­tage:
The forklift/stacker must be designed for the weight of the con­tain­er.
If a sep­a­rate crane has to be ordered, this is often asso­ci­at­ed with high costs.

TRUCK WITH TRUCK-CRANE

Fea­si­ble Con­tain­er: 20′ & 40′ / 40′ HC Con­tain­er > though only EMPTY!

Advan­tage: Cheap­er than with a sep­a­rate crane or side loader

Dis­ad­van­tage: Usu­al­ly only unload­ing and load­ing with an EMPTY con­tain­er pos­si­ble (since own truck crane is not suf­fi­cient for heav­ier loads)

Require­ment:
— Con­tain­er must be emp­ty (20′ max. 2.3t & 40′ max. 4t)
— firm ground and secure stand for truck crane sup­ports
— unload­ing only pos­si­ble next to the truck or with a larg­er crane (more expen­sive) also behind the truck

SEPARATE CRANE (organized by us or yourself)

Depend­ing on the require­ments (e.g. unload­ing or load­ing of con­tain­ers not direct­ly next to the truck), we can also send a sep­a­rate crane to the load­ing point or you can hire a crane com­pa­ny in your area to unload or load the con­tain­er onto the truck.

Fea­si­ble Con­tain­er: 20′ & 40′ / 40′ HC Con­tain­er

Advan­tage: more flex­i­ble > longer dis­tances

Dis­ad­van­tage: Usu­al­ly asso­ci­at­ed with high costs

Require­ment:
— firm, load-bear­ing, lev­el sub­sur­face and safe stand for crane and vehi­cle
— suf­fi­cient maneu­ver­ing space for 40-tonne semi­trail­er & sep­a­rate crane
— Access to the con­tain­er is unhin­dered

HELICOPTER TRANSPORT

In loca­tions that are dif­fi­cult to access, it may be nec­es­sary to use a heli­copter. We would also be hap­py to orga­nize trans­porta­tion by heli­copter for you
